Mustang Compact Excavators
Mustang introduces four compact excavators — models 5003ZT, 6003, 7503ZT and 8003. Models 5003ZT and 7503ZT have a zero tail swing design, creating improved maneuverability and visibility. Models 6003 and 8003 boast a short-tail design that also helps improve maneuverability and visibility while maintaining superior lifting capacity. As with all Mustang compact excavator units, the boom systems consist of one piece of steel vs. two pieces welded together, making it a much stronger system less susceptible to wear. Each was designed from the cab out, meaning the operator’s comfort and ability to accomplish tasks efficiently were priorities in the development of these units.

Bobcat’s Zero House Swing Compact Excavator
The Bobcat 430 Zero House Swing (ZHS) compact excavator enables operators to work next to walls and buildings with 320 degrees of unrestricted motion. The zero house swing design of the 430 excavator allows operators to dig up to 3 m next to existing structures while reducing the possibility of hitting objects while turning the house. For accessing tight working conditions, the Bobcat 430 and 435 compact excavators are the only models in the industry with true zero house design. This saves contractors from potential damage to nearby structures with larger equipment, or heavier machines that lack the rubber tire undercarriage.
